Our Story

Hi, I’m Jennifer, the owner and creator of Key Z Crafts. What started in 2017 as a small side hustle making island-inspired gifts quickly grew into a passion for creating handcrafted, high-quality products designed to bring a little piece of the islands into everyday life.

The Inspiration

My Island Body skincare line was inspired by my beautiful daughter, Brittany. After a devastating car accident in 2013 left her with multiple life-threatening injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, she began living in a long-term care facility.

I wanted her to have the best skincare products possible, but the products commonly used in hospitals and care facilities were not at the quality level I would want for her or anyone else. I knew I could do better — and that’s when the idea for Key Z Crafts truly began.

Creating with Purpose

I spent months researching, testing, and perfecting recipes to create natural, hemp-based body butters, lotions, and sugar scrubs specifically for Brittany. Her nursing staff loved the products and encouraged me to start selling them, and from that encouragement, Key Z Crafts was born.

Today, I handcraft island-inspired soaps, body butters, lotions, scrubs, and more using quality ingredients and tropical scent blends that are uplifting, nourishing, and made with care.
Every product is created with love, purpose, and the goal of making everyday self-care feel like an island escape.
